1) Start off by sketching out your design with a coloured pencil that is dark enough to see but won’t be too obvious when you start colouring in!
Also, now is the time to choose your spring colour palette!
2) Then take two similar colours and block in the background. I’m using lilac and pink here and sort of blending them together for a nice poppy background!
3) Using the other colours you’ve picked begin blocking in the other details, try and use colours that sit next to each other nicely and have a good amount of contrast!
4) Finally, using the thinner end of the brush pens add in all of your smaller details!
